Hello Fellow Musicians. I am primarily a teacher (and chamber music enthusiast). My career began some 20 years ago observing a master Suzuki teacher at a community division at a univsersity. I began teaching some private lessons and built up a studio of about 24 students. I then received an ivitation to teach the Suzuki Method in the public schools and have been doing that ever since. I currently have about 180 students in one school. I try my best to instill the philosophy that talent can be cultivated through effort, and that character development is as important as skill development. I would love to discuss any thoughts about teaching Suzuki in the public schools.
