Evan Lowery

Cellist and lover of music, I started playing in 5th grade under one of the best teachers I've ever met. I taught some in high school, but it was All State Orchestra that made me want to study cello in college. I started working for stringed instrument specialty shops after college, and now help run StringWorks, www.stringworks.com and play in Titan Quartet - doing gigs and working on recitals throughout the year. I will be taking ECC this year at ASI and look forward to building a teaching studio.

Music education and advocacy for music education in schools and beyond is one of my biggest passions!
