I am a Suzuki Violin teacher in the Atlanta area. I grew up in California, and spent my early years studying with one of the Suzuki pioneers, Elizabeth Mills. I attended Eastman School of Music, and after taking a year off to attend a college in the Napa Valley, I ended up staying there, and graduating with a music performance degree. I have about 30 years of teaching under my belt, and continue to freelance in the Atlanta area. I took up painting five years ago, and now am spending my free time at the easel, creating both traditional and abstract works of art. Some of my most successful paintings are violin abstracts full of life and color.
