A relationship with the violin has been a lifelong journey. Beginning lessons in the 4th
grade sparked my love for the instrument. This journey has had its ups and downs. While a beginning student, academics competed with my devotion to my violin. For a while, academics won and I didn't play the violin for about 25 years. A near death experience in a car accident wrought some changes in my mobility and coordination. After several years of therapies and rehab, I attempted violin lessons again.
At this point, being 53 years old, a career in music is not really an option, but I strive to improve my skills as a violinist to a level where I may perform for others.
