Please see the website: http://www.thestringwizards.org/ but I have expanded from that to attempt w/ some MBA type friends to create an umbrella type of partnership to serve a clear need with clearly identifiable patrons and that is a "revival" of string music education in big cities using public elementary school based availability of students and facilities, who desire to have music edu but lack public funding. I believe that working musicians who are not interested in running group lessons at $35 per hour but would jump at day time regular income opportunities at about double that amount. Never mind the public sector. It is broke, but if we can TOGETHER demonstrate significant capacity and quality control. With that in place, then finding private donors with six figure endowments are around. If you are in Chicago, drop me a line. This is a work in progress and we are talking the inner city.
