Siara Delyn

Hello. I'm a fiddle player who plays for contra dances & folk music events in the Washington DC area. I love classical violin music and am currently taking classical violin lessons. As of 4/3/08 I'm working on "The Girl with the Flaxen Hair" (Debussy), the "L'Estate" part of Vivaldi's "Four Seasons", and a Handel Sonata...l so I guess that puts me in the imtermediate range.

I know there's a tradition that if you haven't studied classical music as a child you might as well forget trying. But it's simply too much fun to resist. So I'll keep on plugging away and time will tell how technically proficient I get!
