Sal Peralta
I picked up a violin for the first time in March, 2012 when I realized that either my wife or I would need to learn in order to help our daughter push through the painful early stages of learning the instrument. Emboldened by Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mom, I rented a Scott Cao student instrument. After a few months of practice, I was hooked. I try to practice for at least an hour a day. I now play using a 1900 Salvadore de Durro trade violin.
