I took violin for a couple of years as a child and have played piano off and on throughout my life. As an adult, and as the daughter of a bluegrass and folk musician, I have come to realize how much I love traditional fiddling. For many years, I've longed to learn to play fiddle, but worried that I was too old to learn to play well. After meeting several adults and teachers who convinced me otherwise, I just bought my first fiddle and started lessons. Hey, I'm not dead yet!
