Michael Browder
I began playing at 14 in public school and with a teacher who was a professional trombonist, not a violinist! At 15 I started playing with a teacher at a private college who was a principle in a professional orchestra. At 16 I auditioned and was accepted at an all NW orchestra. At 17, I was accepted for music college Initially for Ed, later with the addition of BAMus and BMus Perf.)
I knew all along that it would be impossible for me to 'make it' in classical music as so many posters on Violinist.com have remarked to different readers. SO I double majored in physics.
Currently I live in France.
