Logan C. Ford

Violinist | Trumpeter | Advocate for the Arts

Formerly studying the trumpet under Professor Susan S. Messersmith at Charleston Southern University’s Horton School of Music, Ford is now continuing his undergraduate studies under Professor Todd E. Jenkins at the University of South Carolina at Aiken. In addition to the trumpet, Logan has been studying classical violin for over a decade, performing in various orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout his career. He is currently studying violin under Professor Adam A. DePriest at USC-A and has studied under Mrs. Jennifer A. Parker Aikey, and Dr. Laura Tomlin. Ford's vision is to see every student reach their full potential, while his mission is to teach others to understand, appreciate, and love music.

Logan has served in a variety of music ministry positions as well. God has not only called him to teach music but teach His word through music to the community. Logan formerly served as the Assistant Music Minister at Central Baptist Church in Aiken SC, and as the Minister of Music at Coastal Shores Baptist Church in North Charleston, South Carolina. He is currently a private music teacher, substitute teacher, and the artistic coach for the Aiken High School string quintet.
