I am disabled and play guitar mostly, but became interested in violin/fiddle after becoming interested in bluegrass music last year. My first violin purcase was a 3/4 size 50's schroetter, and the second was a 4/4 ancient German? that has a cool old tone. Most recently I bought a nice instrument off another forum and gave the Schrotter to my little nephew.
