Jane Klingsten
Started violin at three through Suzuki Method (Geselle, A2) and played seriously through high school (Interlochen, Michigan Youth Symphony.) Studied under Karen Kramalkhov, Dan Foster, Judy Bank, formerly Yamada. Crushed by traumatic conversation with parents pulling support for college plans for UM School of Music. Continued to play casually through college (MTU/KSO, Asst. Concertmaster). Stopped due to health. Restarting on limited basis. Started music loving son in violin and promise not repeat parents’ mistake.
Enjoy playing baroque, contemporary, and romantic classical along with improv, blues, and a lil heavy metal.
