Julie Lyonn Lieberman

Julie Lyonn Lieberman is a specialist in American and world string styles, creative musicianship, and ergonomic approaches to music making. The author of a number of internationally acclaimed books and DVDs, her 14 titles include You Are Your Instrument, Planet Musician, The Contemporary Violinist, and Violin and Viola Ergonomics. Julie Lyonn Lieberman is the Artistic Director for the summer program Strings Without Boundaries, a D'Addario Elite Clinician, and an NS NXT Design Artist. No newcomer to large projects, she produced an environmental music educational project, The Green Anthem, which reached six million young people through the National Association for Music Education in 2010. She has also written and produced two National Public radio series, over fifty magazine articles, and well over a dozen string orchestra scores published by Alfred and Kendor.
