I have loved the violin since childhood but couldn't afford lessons until I was in high school. I took for a year and then quit to go to college where private lessons were hard to find. Since then time just got away. I found myself at 40 with a lot of regret about not returning to the violin. So, I resumed my lessons this April and have put countless hours into making up for lost time. I don't plan to perform in public, but find much personal satisfaction from hours spent alone with my violin.
