I picked up a violin for the first time in 2002 at the age of 39. An absolutely gorgeous violin was offered to me so I just had to learn how to play it. That was 13 years ago and I haven't lost my passion for this thing yet....still learning and still improving and loving every sour note and missed shift along the way. Frustrating, but so rewarding and....keeps those brain cells functioning....very important !! :-)
