John Dukes

Hello All, My name is John Dukes and I'm 15 years old. I have been playing the violin for roughly 4 and 1/2 years. During this time, I have developed a love for the instrument and (almost) everything about it. Currently, I'm finishing up book 5 in the Suzuki method and play in my local student ensemble, as well as the Evans Orchestra located in Charlottesville VA. I have also been playing the viola for the past 4 months and am currently learning the 3rd Movt. of the 6th Brandenburg Concert. I also find messing around with my collection of instruments such as carving bridges finding new strings and learning as much as I can understand about the mechanics of the instrument. My non-stringed instrument activities are mostly soccer and tennis.
