Hello,
I'm an adult beginner, aged 45. Had lessons for 18 months at school aged 11, without shoulder rest, never got good intonation or past 1st position. Mum hated hearing me practice too, so gave up.
Began again 2 months ago (though teacher too busy for 3 consecutive weeks). HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE for the encouragement - I need bucketfuls! Plus more accurate idea of expectations!!!
