Andrew Zaplatynsky

Concertmaster with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra for 30 years (1981-2011). Previous positions include Associate Concertmaster with the Cincinnati Symphony, an Assistant Concertmaster with the Detroit Symphony, and member of the violin sections of the Minnesota Orchestra and the Rotterdam Philharmonic. Violin studies with Edgar Ortenberg, Josef Gingold, and Ivan Galamian.
Currently adjunct faculty at Hobart & William Smith Colleges, Onondaga Community College, and Hamilton College.
