Chord Progressions for Intonation and Improvising.

June 9, 2018, 3:10 PM · HI Everyone.

I'm a violin teacher at UdK Berlin and a violinist in the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.

I've made an application for my students' scales (and for encouraging improvisation) and I wonder what you might think of it.

Simply put, it is a metronome for chord progressions.

There are two main purposes: 1) to think of intonation as having a function and direction rather than an absolute value and 2) to encourage improvisation every day.

It is free to download (on iPhone), I'd be happy for comments and ideas and bug reports:

It would get more notice there and more responses. Hope this helps.
