I got the Kreutzer Etude book two weeks ago. I worked on the first last week and on the second this week. The first Etude was amazing. It fixed a lot of my bow problems. On the second one, I am working on the first three bowing sets... my teacher is going to make me do all of them, but not all in only one week, of course. I've made a TON of progress on Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole since I got my Etude book. Kreutzer really does work. Lumi (my stand partner) told me that it's the only book that actually works for her. It works a lot better than the Bach Sonatas and partitas... haha. And back to Lalo... I only have the last two pages of the first movement to work on. it's really hard, plus I'm getting bored of it, and don't really like the piece very much anymore. I told my teacher this and she's going to let me learn the Bruch Concerto in G minor (I don't know if that is the first of the second one. someone please tell me) instead of continuing Lalo.
