Toto, I don't think we're in Kansas anymore....

Greetings from Heidelberg, Germany! I am going to be living here for 6 months while my dad works at the university of Heidelberg. Some of you already knew this because Carley revealed this in a certain discussion. How did you even find that? I posted it months ago!

I had a picture to post of facewood (have you ever seen that horrid stuff?) but it's on the wrong computer. Pity, it scares me and I thought that you all would like to see it.

In other news (you are going to think I'm crazy) I had another dream that Joshua Bell was on the Oprah show. It's destiny! If I can't get even get Joshua Bell on the Oprah show...I will not die happy. You must aid me in my quest! www.oprah.com

Man, I packed so much music! Like three binders full not to mention all the books. Seems like everything from A major scales to Zigeunerweisen (it is ALWAYS 'eu,' Linda).

I won't have internet for another 2-3 weeks, but there is an internet café near to our rented house. I'm afraid to leave this site for too long...I came back here and had absolutely no idea what was going on. Eric is now 'ES the paranoid' and is no longer blogging? The Evil One is making crazy pictures?! What else has happened in my absence?

Now I'll be on roughly the same time as Bram, so I'll be able to catch him before things are up too long. You're safe with me, violinist.commies! No more "on-edgeness" I hope.

Ha! I was right, Europe with your whole family. Did you find a violin teacher? And what are you doing about regular school? Are you going to an international school, or a German school, or being homeschooled, or what?

Have a great time! One of my life goals is to live abroad for at least a year, and I'll definitely do it before my girls are grown.

Welcome to Europe. Heidelberg is beautiful and you will find all Europe handy. I myself can be there in a 12-13 hour drive...and I live right away on one corner. Any luck with violin teachers though you should have a conservatory handy.
This is what I want to do as well: its the schooling, and especially the music education bit that worries me

We'll fill you in, Syd.

In addition to the ES changes, we've learned that virtuosos are also Prefects, that "Hiefitz" [sic] bow-arm "sucks", and that CCM is immoral. But I guess CCR is still OK 'cuz there wuz no mention of them. We also larned all 'bout Jesus in ways we never wanted to.

That's the view from the trenches.

Hello neighboor. Last sunday 22 januari I saw Joshua Bell in Arnhem. That's not so very far from Heidelberg, but you was not there. See more in my blog about him.

Sydney, I made a good guess. Tell us about Heidelberg. Post pictures. Find a good violin teacher. Most of all, have fun.

Something else you missed: Bach is dead.

There's a Huge music school in Heidelberg...although it is mid-term, but worth a try to see if they can come up with anything

Yes paranoid about posting much on a completely unmoderated site that insists everyone provide full names, address and phone numbers... Enjoy Germany!
