I'm still at my friend's house, but now I'm sick. It's just a cold, not a serious illness, but it can really make you feel bad. My friend had it a few days ago, but she's much better now. On New Year's Eve we're going somewhere for a jam session, then back to her home for a party. She put out an open invitation and lots of people responded, some of whom will be staying here overnight. I'd better get well quickly! I brought my knockabout fiddle with me and haven't even taken it out of its case yet. For the last two days, I've done nothing but sleep and cough. The sleep may help me get well.
