I do not have a recording label or professional management, but I would like to have my own website to increase awareness of my existence and give myself a more professional image. Does anybody have suggestions as to people that could manage a website for a professional violinist and teacher for fairly cheap? I appreciate any and all positive feedback. Thanks!I hope that you find what you need for a professional website, but I wanted to let you know that you are also welcome to use your profile page on Violinist.com (in your case, that's http://www.violinist.com/directory/bio.cfm?member=nedjacob) as a website for yourself. The very first aim that I had, when founding Violinist.com, was to provide a place where people could put their resumes online. If you go to "My Profile," then [Edit Your Personal Profile/Account Information], you can post quite a lot on that page, in terms of a bio. (Picture, contact info, embed Youtube into your bio, etc.) You can also change the information whenever you'd like. So that's one very cheap way of having a website, that's neither a FB or MySpace page. :)
