Perlman in Mexico, Joshua Bell in Venezuela
November 26, 2006 at 3:26 AM
Ok i can´t come to USA and see Anne-Sophie Mutter, Kavakos, Sarah Chang or Pepe Romero with Laurie´s orchestra, but i have some luck and im in the way to see, next tuesday, Itzhak Perlman in Mexico City and next 12-9, in my country (Venezuela), Joshua Bell with the very best young conductor in the world, my friend Gustavo Dudamel.
I really happy, thanks to V.com i find my true pasion again, the music, the violin music and i motivate to take a trip and see my idols like Perlman and may be some day before she retired Anne-Sophie Mutter and another day the "Young Army", Bell, Hahn, Gringolts etc.
Evidently, with my bad english i will report, i enjoyed soo much Collen and Sydney post from Chicago (i missed), congratulations, i read and read and laugh a lot, thanks girls.
Perlman will play Beethoven VC in the Auditorio Nacional (Mexico most important hall) and Joshua Bell will play the Tchaikovski VC (i remember that Karin said that JB was wonderfull in this VC)
If anybody want come to Venezuela this date i will be your anfitrion
h. hahn is the only high level performance ive ever been to, and it was a recital with piano accompaniment...
i've held on to that memory for some time now, maybe i should get to another one; we'll see. i REALLY love Ilya's prokofiev no.1
happy to hear you got your zeal(fuego) back.
porque motivacion es de suma importancia en algun artesania/...en violin hay siempre muchas cosas que hacer! bien:)
Luis, your English is not bad, and I hear your feelings as a violinist loudly and clearly. I wish I could come to Venezuela to enjoy the concert with you. I heard Bell play the Tchaik Concerto in Washington DC recently (see my blog of 9/27/06), and it was one of my all time favorite musical experiences.
Yay! Enjoy those two performances! I saw Joshua perform the Beethoven VC as well and loved every second of it. Hope it's wonderful for you as well.
Muy bien escrito Louis , Gracias.
Hi Pauline, of course i read your, great post, plmk if i can help you if you come to Venezuela, is a great musical country, and i guess that JB and Dudamel is a amazing duo.
Warren your spanish is better than my english.
Como dicen aqui en Mexico. Hasta la vista amigo.

Joshua Bell is playing the Tchaik in Venezuela?! Where did you get that information? Can you please send me the link? I assume you're talking about December 2007. Me encantaría viajar a Venezuela para escucharlo...although I don't know if I could justify it since I've already heard him play the Tchaik twice. I wonder if my daughter will be old enough to go with me and then I could take her as an "educational" experience...
www.deutschegrammophon.com, in the gustavo dudamel information, next dudamel will conduct in Israel, soloist, Gil Shahan.
PLMK if you will im former Simon Bolivae player and they say me that i will meet Joshua Bell.
Karin, JB will be in venezuela netx 12-9.

Gracias por la información, Luis. ¿Supiste que el 9. diciembre es el cumpleaños de Joshua Bell? That's great that he even performs with youth orchestras in Venezuela. I'd love to go, but I'll have to wait and see. Si voy, cierto que debes ser mi anfitrión. :)
Thanks Karin, thanks for the information about JB birthday, wow, Joshua Bell in Venezuela in his birthday? Great.
