Augustin Hadelich performed Brahms Violin Concerto with The Hallé Orchestra.

The Wharfdale Observer: "The Grammy award winning Italian-German-American virtuoso mines every note to create a spectrum of colours. His muscular opening phrases gradually sweetened in tone to become bathed in light as he soared high above the stave."

Aubree Oliverson performed Mieczyslaw Weinberg’s Concertino for Violin and String Orchestra with Parlando.

New York Classical Review: "Aubree Oliverson played the Concertino for all it is worth, capturing its varied moods with passion, fire, tenderness and sorrow. Her collaboration with Niederhoffer and the Parlando musicians was natural and dedicated."

Randall Goosby performed Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 with the Utah Symphony.

Utah Arts Review: "...there was never any question he was the star. He tossed off the virtuosic cadenzas of the first movement with precision and panache, repeating the feat in the brilliant double-stopped passages of the jaunty finale. In between came the soulful, beautifully phrased melodies of the slow movement."

Stephen Kim performed Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto in D Minor with the Sejong Soloists.

New York Classical Review: "Kim took this congenial, unobtrusive music and made it fascinating in the moment with his own considerable skill and musicality."

Veronika Eberle performed Berg’s Violin Concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra.

The Guardian: "Eberle’s sorrowing way with the cadenza was gripping, and she sounded ravishing in the final pages..."

Braimah Kanneh-Mason performed Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor with the Basingstoke Symphony Orchestra.

Gazette: "The icing on the cake was provided by Braimah Kanneh-Mason, the second eldest sibling of the famous family. His performance of the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor was both passionate and intimate – there were moments when the audience was held spell-bound by the softness of expression in the middle movement, then drawn in by the air of excitement at the start of the last section, and finally propelled to the end of the piece."

Anne-Sophie Mutter performed John Williams' Violin Concerto No. 2 with Williams and the San Francisco Symphony.

The Daily Californian: "Mutter gave a heartfelt, evocative performance of Williams’ enchanting Violin Concerto No. 2."

The Kronos Quartet performed at the Perth Festival.

Arts Hub: "Harrington could still coax the wildest sounds from his violin; Sherba was an incisive, almost astringent counterpart as a second fiddle; and, despite his deadpan demeanour, Dutt was surely the funkiest viola player on the planet. Vladyslava Luchenko performed the Brahms Violin Concerto with the Lviv National Philharmonic Orchestra at the University of Missouri.

The Maneater: "This piece — notoriously one of the most difficult violin concertos — was beautifully rendered by Luchenko, who received a standing ovation after her virtuosic cadenza in the first movement."
