Finalists announced in 2022 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis

September 19, 2022, 10:17 PM · INDIANAPOLIS – Six violinists were named as Finalists in the 2022 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis (IVCI) on Monday, after four days of semi-final rounds, in which each of 16 semi-finalists performed a full recital showcasing 19th and 20th century works from the standard repertoire.

The Classical Finals begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday. Click here to watch archived performances of the Preliminaries and Semi-Finals, as well as the schedule for and livestream of the Finals, which include Classical Finals Wednesday and Thursday at 8 p.m. and Finals with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Leonard Slatkin Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.
