Finalists announced in 2022 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis

September 19, 2022, 10:17 PM · INDIANAPOLIS – Six violinists were named as Finalists in the 2022 International Violin Competition of Indianapolis (IVCI) on Monday, after four days of semi-final rounds, in which each of 16 semi-finalists performed a full recital showcasing 19th and 20th century works from the standard repertoire.

Here are the finalists:

Joshua Brown, 22, of the United States
Sirena Huang, 28, of the United States
SooBeen Lee, 21, of South Korea
Julian Rhee, 22, of the United States
Claire Wells, 21, of United States
Minami Yoshida, 24, of Japan

The Classical Finals begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
