Augustin Hadelich performs works by Bach, Paganini and Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson. This highly-accomplished and widely-respected violinist has appeared with every major orchestra in Europe and North America, as well as many in Asia, South America and Australia. He has won the Indianapolis violin competition, a Grammy, an Avery Fisher career grant and the Warner Music Prize, and was named Musical America's Instrumentalist of the Year in 2018. His recordings range from Paganini to Brahms to Ligeti, and his most recent release is the complete solo violin works of Bach. Augustin was born in Italy to German parents, and is also an American citizen.

The concert, which took place on Saturday, is part of the Atterbury House Sessions concert series, curated by Lara St John and celebrating the 150th anniversary of New York’s iconic Atterbury House. One more concert remains in her series: violinist Lara St. John herself will perform on June 5, with the livestream beginning at 5 p.m. EST and then available afterwards.
