I dunno, I have a spouse (and I bet I'm not the only one here) for whom "Turn left!" apparently still leaves him with two options. "Left! LEFT!!! The OTHER LEFT!!!" :D

For some reason that is really, really funny.

I thought my left hand was my right hand, and my right hand my left hand, until I was five. I have been confused ever since. I wish all signs looked like this.

I quite often mix up left and right, maybe because I'm left-handed. And yet, I found that this sign still did not point the way for me....

Laurie, I am also a leftie . I remember that because my Mom is right-handed that I assumed I was too. Oops.

There are a lot of people who have trouble distinguishing right from left. This trait tends to run in families, and there is some evidence that it is co-inherited with musical talent.

Hmm, now that you guys mention it, my husband is a lefty too. Lefties are cool...I'm not surprised that there are so many here. :)

I need signs like that. My brain thinks:
<---Left
<---Right

I was born left-handed but made right-handed by my mum. Other than writing with my right hand, I do almost everything else with my left hand. I think sometimes my brain is confused between left and right because of this. The sign would be very helpful for someone like me!
