Are you heading to Indianapolis to watch or participate in the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis? Will you be glued to the live coverage? Then we want YOU!Specifically, we want your blog.
Since this event is a rather rare coming-together of Violinkind, we'd like as many viewpoints as possible: thoughts from participants, viewers, teachers, students, parents, performers, people who have participated in competitions in the past, violin professionals, accompanists, composers, luthiers in attendance, you name it.
And we'd welcome comment on just about any aspect of this 17- day event: the opening ceremonies, the preliminaries, the semi-finals, the finals, the forums, the gathering of modern luthiers, the exhibits.....
We are so enthusiastic about getting everyone's viewpoint that we're going to have a little daily contest during the event: whoever writes the brightest blog will win one of our brand-new Violinist.com T-shirts. And from the e-mails I've received over the last 10 years, people have been clamoring to get our little violin-playing kokopelli on a T-shirt. We won't be offering the T-shirts for sale until after the Indianapolis, so that means.....
You have to blog if you want one!
So register, sign in, and start blogging!
