A note about my group Dúo del Sol

September 5, 2013 at 3:22 AM

Hey fellow violinists,

It's been a while since I last wrote, mainly because of a project that I hope you'll find interesting. I'd like to introduce to you my group Dúo del Sol, which has kept me busy and inspired for the last couple of years.

Guitarist Tom Farrell and I have been writing music together and performing it for the last two-and-a-half years or so. We are both Classically-trained players but our influences are very diverse and our creative process is very free.

Here's a song that we wrote some time ago and performed recently in Los Angeles. I hope you enjoy it!

Really beautiful playing, Javier. Aren't you releasing an album next week? What is the link?
