Being a violinist nowadays is about keeping an open mind and unleashing your creativity. It's also about finding your voice. After years or searching, I found mine when I began working with guitar master Tom Farrell two years ago. Together as Dúo del Sol, we compose and perform exhilarating and imaginative music that breaks any boundaries of what you'd expect from two traditional instruments.I'm excited to announce that Dúo del Sol is finally making its first full-length album of original music for violin and guitar. Tom and I have taken our 21st-century chamber music around the country and have been met with a great deal of enthusiasm (I Am Entertainment said "exceptional genius"!).
We wanted to include our wonderful community of supporters in this project, so we released a campaign on Kickstarter - an exciting crowdfunding site that makes it easy, safe and fun to support creativity.
I'd love to have your support as violinists and violin-lovers. I invite all of you to read more and join the project here: duodelsol.com. It ends on April 18th!
From our previous album:
Thanks for reading and keep making music!
