Finally Playing Quartet Again

January 24, 2007 10:47

Yesterday, after more than half a year of quartet abstinence (caused by turns by my or the violist's day jobs), I met again with my ACMP quartet.

We played Schubert's a minor quartet - which we had started to work on almost a year ago. Enjoyed it immensely.

Next time, we'll do "Psalom" by Arvo Pärt and some other modern work still to be determined by the first violinist.

Did I mention that we finally got some snow over here? It's been snowing the whole night and today till late afternoon.

Looking forward to dig a path to my log home from the street ;-)
