If you want to listen, Faure only movement of the planed but never finished v.c.recorded by Rodolfo Bonucci on an ASV CD. For Lalo's, Ricci is a must.(he recorded all Lalo's works for violin and orchestra).
This is just so cool, Bram. I know you've done a lot of these, but it's really useful to be able to read the music and listen to the piece.
I too appreciate you taking the time to post these blogs. They are interesting, educational, and fun to listen and be able to read the music. Thanks Bram. :-)
Oooh, I just LOVED the Fauré - he's a current favorite of mine. Off I go to listen to the Lalo now. Echoing the others in saying many thanks for posting these. I love exposing my ears/eyes to these hidden gems.
It is great some people like it. I have more sheetmusic and more cd's, so more will follow and so I help people to discover new things.
The Norwegian fantasy sounds amazing! I´d love to play it one day.
