Today was one of those days where I was playing violin all day long...and by the time it got to my 5:30 rehearsal with my pianist, I was beat. I love days like this, but I didn't want to have our first rehearsal after such a day and being so tired. He was falling asleep talking to me as well, so it would have been a waste of time and money. We rescheduled for Sunday night. THat way we'll be rested. I perform two movements of the Bach tomorrow. The Loure and the Rondeau et Gavotte. For a general recital for students and faculty. I'm trying to keep myself calm. I played them today in my lesson and they went really well. I know I can play them decently, lets just hope that I don't get shaky or terribly nervous. Very productive lesson today. Fun Camerata rehearsal. Tedious work with our conductor on the Wagner and Zampa...with metronome and piano. For an hour and a half. Think some things were really learned, though. Killed my brain cells! I just got home and now I'm studying. Comps are coming up on the 30th. Stopped at STarbucks and got two shots of espresso in a large coffee to keep me going for at least a few more hours. (jennifer starts to snore and head falls on the keyboard....daksd;rsdfkjdksla;fjds dskalf jfkaslkdasf). Things are looking very good these days. Positive. I'm grateful for that! Later gators. JW
