So, I discovered that QT has introduced yet another delicacy to its menu. JalapeƱo and cheddar taquito's were just the pick-me-up's I needed when my eyes started drooping. Mix that with 5 gas station pit stops and more caffeine than any human should consume in a month and I made it - ALIVE!
After the show at Mick's in Omaha, NE on Friday night (which was NEAR CAPACITY!!!), I got to hang out with some friends I hadn't seen in a few months, all over a delicious plate of biscuits and gravy. I think that eating a plate of B&G at 2am turns to straight muscle...maybe not...
And finally, after arriving at Mizzou for the Saturday night show, i got a chance to relax and watch some tube. I found Fat Albert, IN SPANISH: oye, oye, oye! I thought it was horrible in english...well, its even worse. I'm sure you can imagine.
Everyone at the Artisan (overflowing the place) rocked my face off - and by the way, i saw the occupancy sign as I was loading out, and i'm pretty sure we took in more door money than was legal...whoops!
The weekend was a great mini-tour. I had the chance to play these shows with my sister, Lacy Adair. Gotta' give her props - her debut CD came out this past week and it's fantastic! If you haven't checked her stuff out, do so NOW! (www.myspace.com/lacyadair)
So thanks again to all of the Omaha crowd and the Mizzou gang. I'll be back soon!
