First off, I would like to wish everyone here the very best for 2014! I hope that you have an exciting, prosperous, musically filled and successful year.

For me, 2014 is off to an exciting start. I will be doing a tour of Ontario, Canada, over the next few weeks with Canadian pianist Frédéric Lacroix. On the program will be four wonderful and challenging sonatas by J.S. Bach (#4 in C minor), Guillaume Lekeu, Leoš Janácek and Johannes Brahms (#3 in D minor).

To anyone interested in coming, we will be playing in Kemptville on the 18th of January, at the OPUS Concerts in Ottawa on the 19th of January, at Gallery 345 in Toronto on the 30th of January and at the Concert Association of Huntsville on February 2nd, where we will be giving masterclasses the day before. For more information, please feel free to visit the concerts page on my website at www.christianvachon.com.

All the best and a great 2014 to everyone!

Cheers!

Great program! The Lekeu definitely deserves to be played more often!

Hi,

Elise: Thanks a lot! It would be great to meet you as well! :)

Simon: Thank you very much! Glad you like the program! The Lekeu is amazingly beautiful, and it is a real privilege to play it. I agree that it most certainly deserves to be played more often!

Cheers!

Hey man -- if only I lived closer, I'd definitely want to come. Visited your Web site earlier today and did the next-best thing -- played four audio tracks you had uploaded, including the Bach that's on your program -- delighted with them. Keep them coming. All the best on your tour.

P. S. Glad I caught your blog before it rolled off the front page.
