I have always found it interesting in the music business that while nature quiets down in Fall and prepares to rest for Winter, this is usually the time when new artistic projects and avenues blossom.
It has been an interesting season for me thus far, with so many interesting and exciting projects. First off, I have seen the birth of my new website which is now online, www.christianvachon.com. A big thank you to New Dimension Design for the superb work! Feel free to take a look!
Another exciting development is that I am seeing the birth of the OPUS Concerts in Ottawa, Canada, a concert series of which we will be Co-Artistic Director. The first concert, Opus 1 no. 1, will take place on December 1st, 2013. The programme will feature the complete Piano Trios Opus 1 by Beethoven. All three trios are amazing individually, but it is a rare treat to be able to offer them together as set in the same concert. We are very lucky to have the sponsorship of BEVA Global Management Inc. and SysteoPlus for this concert, and I extend them a very warm thanks!
There are many other exciting things happening, but I will save some for another timeā¦
Cheers!
