Special YTSO Vlog Just for Violinist.com! Gil Shaham plays Mozart 5!

This afternoon I got to sit up close and record Gil Shaham rehearsing the complete Finale from Mozart Violin Concerto No. 5, K. 219 with the YTSO. And a first time ever (for me, at least) I was encouraged to record the whole thing on my Flip camera!

YouTube Symphony Orchestra - Day 1!

Greetings to everyone from the YouTube Symphony Orchestra Summit! Yesterday was the first day of the summit, and everyone came together for a delicious dinner in the penthouse of the Parker Meridian Hotel, just down the street from Carnegie Hall. Here's my first vlog (video blog) of the event. Watch for cameos from fellow vlogger Jeremy Denk, conductor Michael Tilson Thomas, violist Roberto Diaz, and Gil Shaham!
