November 29, 2008 22:54

Well, how about today.......The Damnation of Faust---Berlioz  [sp?]    on live from the Met...........Did anyone listen ?      Great  opera--even though in french----  Italians usually get to me, BUT oft the French enter to make it all a wee more exciting   !!!!

Do you prefer French or Italien opera ?

Rachael-Barton-Pine

Heard Rachael-Barton-Pine today on radio interview and playing session.

She plays extraordinary well-with any type of genre !

can't figure out how to do away with these spaces !

She is qualified as a music history buff,as well as a complete command of the musical literature involved !!!          I'm sure you all know this BUT it is a different scenario when you hear her live in person--on radio.

Needless to say----she is a treasure !!!!!!

Thanks to Rachael & Laurie for the interview !
