Hi. So, I'm back after my long down-town trip. Spent a few hours in the park, then put on my rollerblades and skated around. Oh, and I got yelled at by a grouchy woman who said "Hey, hey! This isn't a playground!" while I was skating too fast. Then we went home, and went out to a movie. Ugh, I ate sooo many skittles I think I'm gonna burst...

I just got back from a lesson at my teacher's house, and soon I'm headed off to Rittenhouse Park to play for this benefit thing. I have maybe 8 short pieces prepared for it, and also a movement of unnacompanied Bach, and the third mvt. of the Bruch g minor. I'm also incredibly tired and have a headache but hopefully that won't affect much of my playing.
Some of the things I've been working on recently in my overall playing are: vibrato, larger, wider, tighter, etc. Trying to build up a bigger range. And the musical line and dynamics, trying to make them sound not so random :) Today I'm missing my school's camping trip for this Rittenhouse Flower Show, so it'd better go well!! Grr! Just kidding. Maybe I'll bring my rollerblades and skate around the square when I'm done. Okay, so, all for now.

So, this is my first blog entry. My violin life is humongously busy right now. And you know, I really should be practicing right now, instead of typing this, because tomorrow I have a lesson and I'm going to play at a benefit in Rittenhouse Square. On Saturday I have another concert, and another 3 on Sunday. Etc, etc. Soooo, that concludes my first entry.
