Violin lesson learned nearly 50 years ago in Mr. Gleason's Junior High School shop class: "The secret of using tools is to let the tool do the work. Forcing a tool leads to poor workmanship and, not infrequently, to injury. Got it, boys? Copy that into your notebooks." Got it, Mr. Gleason.
