I don't remember if I told you that I dropped the Vieuxtemps no. 5 or not, but I did because for some reason I can't get my hands around it... It seems like it runs away from me just as I get the hang of one measure.... I can pick up any other concerto and have a good idea of how it works but with this one I just can't do it!!! It's really Frustrating, I'm still on the first page and utterly lost.... If somebody wants to help me get a better insight please Write me at HidingFromyou456@aol.com
On to better things my summer is going great. My brother has had his friends over here for 2 weeks, that's the only annoying part about it.

I'm planning the Chamber orchestra Repertoire for school next semester. In chamber we basically have 4 string quartets and two string quintets, and after all the smaller ensembles perform, we have the Huge piece for strings. So I'm picking out music that's fitted to each group...really hard work. So far I've picked the Mendelssohn Octet for strings... Brahms sextet in G, Mendelssohn quartet in E minor and one in A minor, and I haven't picked out a quintet piece yet so I don't know what I'm going to do about that... If you guys have any suggestions Please write to the Aforementioned Email address. That's all for now...

Thanks to Page, I now have Lalo's Violin concerto in F major... I've never heard it before, So I’m anxious to get my hands on a cd of it sometime. Today I did slow Two and Three octave scales, worked on different vibratos and tone production. After that, I slowly started working on the Wieniawski no.1, then I got sidetracked.... So after all this wasted time... I've only managed to play Bach (Which is good), that's all for now.

Okay... I'm off to camp today... at 11:30 it is now 12:22 AM... Why am I not in bed? Because I can't sleep, nor do I want to. I'm taking all my concertos and showpieces to camp, so People can make tons of copies of my music... I like doing that. I have to finish revamping the Bach Chaconne for the master Class with Peter Issacson... he moves around and awful lot, the only reason why I don't like him. He's a good teacher though, he puts lots of emphasis on bowing and Overall technique(my weakest point. This year i'm going all by myself, So I practically know no one, good thing I'm good at making friends. I've been playing alot of Wieniawski lately... maybe I should put on a all Wieniawski Recital. I need to relearn the art of Practice... It seems to have disappeared without the absence of a teacher(I'm working on getting a new one),I really don't have a reason to practice anymore. Well I'm done, I have this horrible splitting headache.

From Fat camp... I mean orchestra camp.
