This year, like last year, I have emailed the music department about continuing lessons. As per their directions I have personaly emailed the gentleman who is the violin teacher and have not received a responce. Last year I even dropped off a letter at his office with email address, snail mail address, and phone number explaining the I took lessons from the two people he replaced. Nothing. What am I to do? Though I can see where the faculty can be overwhelmed and must put the Music Majors as top priority and we have been under a hirring freeze begining the Spring of 2009.
One posibility that has come to mind is to place fliers asking if any Students would like to make a little extra spending money teaching me! My only alternatives are to seek a teacher in Cheyenne, Wyoming (about 45 minuets away) or Ft. Collins, Colorado!
What about someone here at v.com. I send a video, the teacher gives critique and instruction, I pay with a cashiers check ahead of time. Seriously though, I doubt that this is feasable..... There are no teachers who teach adults in town.
If it comes down to it I will make the drive out of town, weather permitting!
What to do?......... Just what...to do?
