University students to be included for Interviewing Violin Instructor Apllicants

I tried posting this on the discussions but can't get the darn thing to do it. So I'm trying the Blogg page.

Our Beloved violin mentors/teachers Drs. Pinell & Gjevre have accepted an offer at another Music Department in Texas, North of Houston (My old Stomping Grounds). This summer applicants will be interviewed for their soon to be former positions here at the University of Wyoming.

We the violin students have formaly requested, as suggested by both Naomie Gjevre & Javier Pinell, to be included in the interviewing process.

Since none of us in the violin student body have interviewed candidates for a university posission if it were any of you Violinist.commers what would you do/say and/or how would you interview the candidates?
