ViolettesbyBecky.com Develops Company Image with 2 Youth Music Events Annually

Happenings at ViolettesbyBecky.com include the following.

1. We are starting to plan our second annual composition competition for youth. This year, we are breaking into 2 categories and each category into 2 age groups is in the works. Instrumental and songwriter Divisions. We have had numerous amazing folks from around the country offer to be volunteer judges for our competition. If you have any interest, please contact me. children enter their scores and an MP-3 or You tube of their music, and the judges have 2 months to choose 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, writing a constructive comment for each entry. Please keep watch on my web site or sign up for my newsletter for developing status of the next competition.

2. Violettes just orchestrated our first annual FUNdraiser for the Joy of Music School of Knoxville. This is a school that gives free instruments, music lessons and mentoring to needy children. We hope the FUNdraiser grows over the next few years.

3. We met the very talented Folk Musician, bass, banjo, guitar, fiddle,...player, songwriter and vocalist, Mark Rubin. He got such a kick out of ViolettesbyBecky violin and guitar purses and gig bags or gifts, we ran to get a camera to video - and this is what came out of his enthusiasm - with one take (just had to edit it).
