the new violin

March 31, 2009 05:55

I got a new violin .  It is a gift from my husband, he bought it on e-bay.  I think it is better than the one I had. I had bought it for less then 100$.  Anyway got the soundpost fixed.  The bridge is too high, but it will have to wait to be changed, since money is not coming in so much. What I do not like is about this new violin is that it does not stay in tune for more then 5 minutes!

I will bring it at my lesson.  Oh boy, I'm a bit worried.  My teacher told me I did not have much ear.  Am I doing all this for nothing? I always though that you could achieve almost anything with a lot of work.  But this was for maths, physics etcc.. What about music?

I watched a video with Vengerov wow! he lives music.  We can see that when the music is sad, all his body is sad.  He is soo nice. Merveilleux! Il ný a pas d'autre mots!
