Lately I haven't been feeling so well, so going on walks or treks down to the beach have not been high on my priority list. However, today the sun was out, the clouds looked funky, and the breeze was calm so I bundled up my achey self in a warm jacket, scarf and gloves, and with camera in hand, I set off to the beach as the last bits of sunshine were still beaming through the sky. I can't actually remember the last time I went to the beach to take pictures.... I went for a shortish walk about three weeks ago at night (and I wished so bad that I had had my camera - it was misty or a bit foggy our and the city lights and boats reflecting in the ocean were incredible!) but it wasn't one of my usual type outings. So today, with gorgeous weather and the beautiful snow tipped mountains beckoning, I decided that assignments and practicing could wait and that I was going to take a bit of time for me to go out and enjoy one of the last nice days of 2008.
That's a fantastic photo, Kelsey! I'm so glad you gave yourself some time off to enjoy a sunny day in November.
Great photo! Keep reminding yourself of the importance of taking time to appreciate the beauty around you.
