Hi violinist.com! This is my first blog ever, so don't eat me up! Lately, even in the summer, the life of (trying) being a dedicated and focused student is pretty rough. It just may be that I am just not as dedicated as I think, who knows with the lack of work ethic from some of the children of my generation? Juggling AP assignments, violin, and golf may not seem like much, however, I try to do my best and I feel there is not enough time in a day!
I play violin three or four hours a day, golf for an hour or two, then spend the rest of the time on academics. I really want to go to Johns Hopkins University to major in medicine (and people say it has a very good music program) and I know work will pay off, but sometimes I have to cut corners, mostly in time, and it eats me up! It feels great to vent my emotions in this small blog post! One day I hope I can just sit back and play from sun rise to sundown without a care in the world.
Wow, this blog post turned weird. I went from being sad, to become depressed, and then happy in the last two paragraphs. When I do feel stressed, my violin is always there to cheer me up as well as this wonderful site!
