Three new jazz violin videos

October 3, 2010 at 3:50 PM

I have a regular Thursday night jazz gig at a pub in Buxton, playing in a duo with a different pianist each week.

Last Thursday (30/9)I was towards the end of the first set,  and who should I see coming through the door, but Pete Hartley, a jazz violinist from Birmingham.I was delighted!

Pete sat in and played with us most of the second set, setting fire to "Spain".

There are three videos  from this night on Youtube:-

Tenor Madness

Wee (Allen's Alley)

Body and Soul

Nice solo and the piano player is great.  All you need is a jazz drummer and bass player to hold up the ends.  Great job.
