Guess who's back from Colorado?

August 22, 2006 06:06

Alas, summer is almost over. The twenty-some days I spent near wilderness were well, wild. There's nothing like waking up in the morning to the fresh smell of dew, and then taking a hike in the mountains without seeing anything that would show you man was ever there. It did also help that during the time I was gone, there was a heat wave in NY, and temperatures were in the high 90s and even hit 100. :) Oh how I'll miss wearing sweatshirts!

And now, I present to you, Colorado. The following is my all time favorite picture. (Admire my photography skills, Muhahaha! ;))

Have you ever seen a bluer sky?

Waterfall and the house that I shall never be able to afford. Loan me 15 million someone?

It was really quite curious, because it CO, during a BBQ, I met this sixteen year old who had a better evil laugh than me! (Not fair! His voice was deeper!) And what should he do just after I acknowledge his evilness? Challenge a ten-year old girl (Califorian at that) to a hula-hooping contest!
This picture is one of Black Canyons, the steepest canyons in America. As he called it, "The Ideal Suicidal Spot". My dad and I tried making a climb down. One wrong move, and----. He chickened out a quartermile down, at a 2.5 feet drop to a big rock. "I'm getting too old for this." Oh well, there's a next time I suppose.

Also, how do you like my new profile pic?
